About Sharon
My journey with myofascial release comes from a lifelong career in healing.
My name is Sharon Crivellaro, I have been a registered nurse for over 35 years, specializing in Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Post Anesthesia and Hospice. I am also an advanced energy medicine practitioner, completed 500 hours of Massage therapy training and also a certified grief tender, which is a profoundly powerful way to process grief. I consider myself a true therapeutic artist in all forms of physical, structural and energetic healing.
After witnessing the ongoing breakdown in the healthcare system, I left the hospital setting to pursue 25 years of training in holistic mind/body health. This powerful transition occurred as I was suffering with intense chronic hip pain, as well as burnout and exhaustion. I found a highly trained practitioner in the John Barnes method of Myofascial release, who helped me unwind over 30 years of mental and physical tension from my body , as well as supported me through my own personal journey through grief and trauma.
MFR allowed my body to heal in a gentle and tender way.. one layer at a time. I began to open up in ways I never thought possible and so I felt deeply called to pass this medicine forward.
I have extended my training to the John Barnes method of Myofascial release, which has brought a lifetime of training and experience into a beautiful space for my clients.
I feel deeply grateful to live on Cape Cod and enjoy hiking in the woods with my dog Nora as well as long walks by the ocean. I feel blessed to be surrounded and supported by many friends that are also in the healing arts. I have always felt a deep calling to help support others on their journeys towards physical and emotional healing, coming back to joy and aliveness.
“ Your Myofascial release therapists formidable skills, inner calm and confidence will help you peel away Myofascial and emotional barriers that have blocked the expression of your true self, to rediscover your own tranquility, strength, mental clarity and awareness.
